CTET September 2026 Correction Form, Exam Date & Eligibility Details

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has activated the CTET September 2026 Correction Formfacility for candidates who submitted the application form for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) September 2026 examination. Applicants can make permitted corrections in their application form from 15 June 2026 to 18 June 2026. The CTET September 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted on 06 September 2026

Candidates from Delhi, Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Patna, Ranchi, Bhopal, Indore, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chandigarh, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and other examination cities should complete corrections within the specified period.

CTET Primary Level Eligibility (Class I to V)

Eligibility Code 1

Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Eligibility Code 2

Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE Regulations 2002.

Eligibility Code 3

Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

Eligibility Code 4

Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 2-Year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

CTET Junior Level Eligibility (Class VI to VIII)

Eligibility Code 1

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Eligibility Code 2

At least 50% marks in Graduation or Post Graduation and passed or appearing in B.Ed.

Eligibility Code 3

Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in B.Ed as per NCTE norms.

Eligibility Code 4

Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 4-Year B.El.Ed.

Eligibility Code 5

Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 4-Year B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed.

Eligibility Code 6

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in B.Ed (Special Education).

Eligibility Code 7

Candidates having qualified B.Ed programmes recognized by NCTE are eligible to appear in CTET. Candidates pursuing teacher education programmes recognized by NCTE or RCI are also eligible as per applicable guidelines.

Eligibility Code 8

Post Graduation with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in 3-Year Integrated B.Ed-M.Ed programme. 

CTET 2026 Exam City Important Notice

CBSE has stated that exam centres are limited in each city. While filling the form, candidates can view available centres live. Applicants seeking their preferred exam city should apply early because available slots may fill quickly. 

Correction Form Details

Candidates who have already submitted their CTET September 2026 application form can use the correction window to modify eligible details within the application form between 15 June and 18 June 2026. After the correction period closes, no further modification opportunity may be provided.
