Jharkhand JAC JHTET Online Form 2026 for Primary & Junior Level

Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), Ranchi has invited online applications for the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JHTET) 2026. Candidates who wish to become eligible for teaching positions in Primary (Class 1 to 5) and Junior Level (Class 6 to 8) schools in Jharkhand can submit their online application from 21 April 2026 to 20 July 2026. Eligible candidates from Ranchi, Dhanbad, Jamshedpur, Bokaro, Hazaribagh, Deoghar, Giridih, Dumka and other districts of Jharkhand can apply before the closing date.

Educational Qualification

Primary Level (Class 1 to 5)

Candidates must fulfill any one of the following eligibility conditions:

10+2 with at least 50% marks and 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed./BTC) (Passed/Appearing Final Year)
10+2 with at least 45% marks and 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 Regulations
10+2 with at least 50% marks and 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
10+2 with at least 50% marks and 2-Year Diploma in Special Education
Bachelor’s Degree with 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education

Junior Level (Class 6 to 8)

Candidates must fulfill any one of the following eligibility conditions:

Bachelor’s Degree with 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks and B.Ed./L.T./Shiksha Shastri
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 45% marks and B.Ed. as per NCTE Regulations
10+2 with at least 50% marks and 4-Year B.El.Ed.
10+2 with at least 50% marks and 4-Year B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education)
Master’s Degree with 55% marks and 3-Year Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
